Setaş Kimya was established in 1966 by Adnan Şener. Our first plant was located in Çatalca (Istanbul) . Since those early years Setaş has been producing textile dyestuffs and textile auxiliaries and continuing research and development in our modern production plant & laboratories in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ built with %100 our own capital.
Setaş makes all the quality and process controls starting at the very early stages of product development until the supplies reach to our customers. To establish these quality and process controls Setaş has seven laboratories that are all equipped with the latest technologies in Çerkezköy.
We sell our products not only locally in Turkey; we have been increasing our exports regulary every year. Setaş markets 30% of the dyestuff production and %25 of the textile auxiliaries production to foreign countries such as Egypt, Pakistan, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Bulgaria, Greece, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, UK, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Mexico, and Venezuella.
Setaş received ISO-9001 certificate in 1995 and ISO-14001 certificate in the year of 2000 to provide production standardization and quality consciousness at our company and our products.
Recently in 2003, Setaş became a member of ETAD (Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers) which has 44 members on four continents around the world. Setaş also got ISO 9001-2000 version while improvements are being made to our quality systems. |
