Setaş Kimya is the first local manufacturer of Polyester Masterbatch for fibre industry in Turkey (2003). In 2006 we have also started manufacturing masterbatches for plastics industry. Approaching close to 1000 tons/year in sales, Setaş Kimya is hoping to become one of the biggest players in the Turkish masterbatch market by 2010. To achieve this goal Setaş also partnered with one of the biggest names in the industry, Americhem. In 2007, Setaş Kimya became the local distributor for Americhem masterbatches.
We currently manufacture Masterbatches under Masterset® brandname with carriers such as PET, PBT, PP, PE, PC, ABS and PMMA.
We produce the PET and PBT based masterbatches for polyester fabrics that have high fastness properties compared to dope dying and PP based masterbatches for beds, carpets, and upholstery products.
